If you are as tired as I am of the nonsense perpetrated on this country by this administration, tired of the daily fear-mongering, tired of the war profiteering, tired of the tax breaks for the ultra-wealthy and, especially, tired of the abuse of the chronically ill hoping for a cure for their disease through embryonic stem-cell research only to be shut down by an imperial president and a Congress unwilling to override his veto, you have one option here in South Jersey.
You can elect representatives who are willing to override this nightmare administration.
In the Courier-Post's circulation area, U.S. Reps. Frank LoBiondo, R-Ventnor, Jim Saxton, R-Mount Holly, and Chris Smith, R-Hamilton, Mercer County, all voted with Bush to sustain his veto. Looking at their voting records, it appears they are rubber stamps for Bush's incompetence. If we, voters, are not happy with the elected officials who work for us, we have the power to turn this country around in November.
